Introduction to Arm Balances (workshop)

A journey into the realm of arm balances, rooted in functional movement and body mechanics.  With a focus on accessible techniques, you'll explore the strength and stability needed to safely and effectively master these empowering poses, whether you're new to yoga or a seasoned practitioner.

Barre Fitness

A dynamic fusion of ballet-inspired movements, yoga stretches, Pilates core work, and strength training suitable for all fitness levels, this class is designed to improve flexibility, balance, and posture. Enjoy a full-body workout that enhances strength, flexibility, balance and posture.

Full-Body Stretch

An easy-going class that works through the entire body from head to toe, incorporating seated, prone, supine, and kneeling stretches. Modifications will be offered to suit your individual needs. Feel free to adjust the intensity according to your comfort level. All levels are welcome, and no prior experience is required. Stretches will primarily be demonstrated from the floor but can easily be adapted for chair use.

Hatha Yoga

A slower-paced style of yoga that explores a variety of yoga postures, emphasizing proper alignment and using the breath as a guide to connect with the body and poses. Poses will be done seating, kneeling, standing, and lying down, and each will be held for several breaths, allowing the body to gently relax into each pose. Modifications are offered, making this class suitable for all fitness and experience levels.

Introduction to Herbal Wellness (workshop)

Explore the healing potential of medicinal herbs and teas for health and wellness in this informative workshop. Benefit from insights rooted in plant science and Ayurvedic nutrition as we delve into the ways these natural remedies can enhance well-being. Gain understanding of the benefits of various herbs and teas, along with practical guidance on preparation and integration into your daily life. Mat Pilates

Renowned for its core-strengthening benefits, targeting muscles like the abdominals, obliques, and lower back, mat Pilates improves flexibility through dynamic stretching, enhances muscle tone, and promotes better posture by emphasizing proper alignment and body awareness. Additionally, Pilates is low-impact, making it suitable for injury recovery and diverse fitness levels, and contributes to an overall sense of well-being.

Vinyasa Yoga

A dynamic yoga practice that harmonizes movement with breath. Suitable for all levels, this class offers modifications to accommodate everyone, ensuring that each participant can honor their body and practice at their own pace. Explore a variety of poses linked seamlessly together, fostering a meditative experience while building strength, flexibility and the mind-body connection.

Yin Yoga

This gentle practice is a series of slow-paced poses held for extended periods while focusing on breath awareness. This allows you to gently stretch and release tension and promotes flexibility and mindfulness.

 

Yogalates

This class combines the benefits of Pilates and yoga, providing a comprehensive workout that enhances core strength, posture, and flexibility, and reduces stiffness. The practice focuses on strengthening core abdominal muscles to support the spine and promote good posture. Through exercises that engage the entire body, Yogalates improves alignment and body awareness. Additionally, traditional yoga poses are integrated to enhance joint mobility, muscle flexibility, suppleness, and tension relief. This unique fusion of disciplines offers a harmonious approach to wellness.
